Downloading Windows App

This guide will help you download and install the Microsoft Windows App on both Windows and macOS.

Windows Installation

Or follow these steps:

  1. Open Microsoft Store

    • Click on the Microsoft Store icon in your taskbar or search for "Microsoft Store" in the Start menu
  2. Search for Windows App

    • In the Microsoft Store, use the search bar at the top
    • Type "Windows App"
  3. Install the App

    • Click on the Windows App app from the search results
    • Click the Get or Install button
    • Wait for the installation to complete
  4. Launch the App

    • Once installed, you can launch it from the Start menu or by clicking Launch in the Microsoft Store

macOS Installation

Or follow these steps:

  1. Open Mac App Store

    • Click on the App Store icon in your Dock or Applications folder
    • Or press Command + Space and type "App Store"
  2. Search for Windows App

    • Use the search bar in the top-right corner of the App Store
    • Type "Windows App"
  3. Install the App

    • Click on the Windows App app from the search results
    • Click the Get or Install button
    • You may need to sign in with your Apple ID
    • Wait for the installation to complete
  4. Launch the App

    • Once installed, you can find it in your Applications folder
    • Double-click to launch, or use Spotlight search (Command + Space) and type "Windows App"

After Installation

Once you have successfully installed the Windows App:

  1. Launch the Application

    • Open the Windows App from your Start menu (Windows) or Applications folder (macOS)
  2. Sign In

    • Use your Microsoft account credentials (e.g., username@gfs.loans)
    • Complete any additional authentication steps if prompted
  3. Start Using Mortgage Workspace

    • You should now have access to all Mortgage Workspace features and tools

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during installation:

  • Windows: Make sure you're signed in to the Microsoft Store with your Microsoft account
  • macOS: Ensure your Mac meets the minimum system requirements and you're signed in to the App Store
  • Both: Check that you have a stable internet connection
  • Both: Try restarting your computer and attempting the installation again
